Congratulations to Ch/Intl Ch. Gourley's One Hot Ticket, JH for his 2008 Award of Excellence at the prestigious Eukanuba Championship show in California. Rio had numerous Best of Breed awards, Best in Specialty Show wins, and Group Placements during 2008. He is owned by Christine Gourley.

Best in Specialty Show
CH. Gourley's Reason To Dream "Reese" was named Best of Breed at the Sahuaro Specialty show November 15, 2008. He was exclusively breeder/owner handled to his Champion title out of the Bred-by-Exhibitor classes. Reese finished his championship in Pomona, CA at the California Brittany Club Specialty with a 5 pt. major. The next day he made the cut, as a move up, for Best Of Breed consideration at the American Brittany Club Summer Specialty. Two weeks later he was awarded his first Best Of Breed at Flagstaff Kennel Club at 14 months of age. He is living up to his name. Reese is owned by Christine Gourley.

Congratulations to Ch/Intl Ch. Wyngold's Tucker Me Out for his recent Best in Sweepstakes award at the November 2008 Sahuaro Brittany Club specialty show. Tucker also won Best Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweepstakes at the Sahuaro Brittany Club specialty show and Best of Breed at the Canada Del Oro Kennel Club in March 2008 as well as going Best of Breed both days at the Lost Dutchman Kennel Club shows in April. He has numerous Best of Breed awards. Tucker is owned by Jackie Nicol and Poul Jessen. He is usually shown by Sara Saucerman Taylor and sometimes by his Mom. Tucker went Best of Breed at the Seminole Kennel Club in Oklahoma over a top ranked Special on the lead of Sara Taylor. He most recently won Best of Breed at the Flagstaff Kennel Club and at 2 of 4 shows during the Sporting Dog Cluster in New Mexico in November 2008.

Hank & Dee Hartnek's pup, Sunquest Cimmaron Catch the Wind, was named Best in Puppy Sweepstakes, Best Puppy in Show & Reserve Winners Dog at the Sahuaro Brittany Club Specialty Show in March 2008. At the Sierra Vista Kennel Club Match in April, Chase was named Best in Match over 48 other adult and puppy entries! Over in California during May, Chase was awarded Best in Sweepstakes at the California Brittany Club specialty show with an entry of 22 puppies! He later earned his 3rd Sweepstakes win at the San Diego Brittany Club in August 2008. Chase was Winners Dog/Best of Winners for his first major at the Central New Mexico Brittany Club specialty. Most recently, Chase was 2nd in the Open Dog class at the American Brittany Club National show.

Multiple Best Junior Handler Wins!
Multiple Best of Breed Wins!
Congratulations to Alex Findlay on winning Best Junior Handler at the Sahuaro Brittany Club Specialty Show March 21, 2008 and both days at the Lost Dutchman KC shows in April 2008. In addition, she handled her dog, Buddy, (Ch. Rao's All American) to a Sporting Group 2 Award at the Greater Sierra Vista Kennel Club show in April 2008! Buddy also took a Best of Breed win at the Canado Del Oro Kennel Club show March 22, 2008. Recently, Alex won Best Junior Handler at all four of the Sporting Dog specialty shows in New Mexico and won Best of Breed during one of those shows. Great job, Alex & Buddy!!!

Congratulations to Melissa and Kimberly Barwick on Ch. Millette's French Vanilla and Kim's recent wins. Most impressively, Kim and Vanna won the Best Junior Award at the American Brittany Club Nationals! Vanna was Best of Opposite Sex at the Sahuaro Brittany Club specialty show on March 21, 2008. The following day, Kim showed Vanna again to Best Opposite Sex and was Best Opposite Sex at the Greater Sierra Vista Kennel Club show. Most recently, Vanna was awarded Best Opposite Sex at the Los Encinos Kennel Club over more than 40 other Brittanys including 3 top ranked bitch specials. Kim won Best Junior Handler at the Canada Del Oro Kennel Club show and Best Junior Handler at the Los Encinos Kennel Club show with an entry of more than 30 Junior Handlers! In addition, Kim was Best Junior handling a Brittany at the California Brittany Club show May 24. Great job, girls!

Best in Sweepstakes!
Congratulations to Wayne Moore. His dog, Jayhawker's Koda Suta (Kody), earned his first major at the Superstition Kennel Club show in early March! A few weeks later, he was named Best in Sweepstakes at the Indian Nations Brittany Club specialty show. Kody is handled by Sara Taylor. Most recently, Kody earned 2 more points at the Flagstaff Kennel Club on the lead of Jackie Nicol & Margaret Sauceman who were helping out while Sara traveled on business.

Sunquest's Leather N Lace (Stevie) has been doing a bit of winning lately with her friends, Jackie Nicol & Sara Taylor. Jackie put 4 points on her in addition to the 2 points she earned with her owner. Most recently, she traveled with Sara Taylor to Oklahoma City where she was Winners Bitch/Best of Winners at the Indian Nations Brittany Club specialty show for a 4 point major, and Winners Bitch at the Muskogee Kennel Club show for another 2 points. She needs just a 3 point major to finish, however, Stevie has now gone to Kansas for "field trial camp" so it will probably be a little while before she finishes her show championship. Stevie is owned by Hank & Dee Hartnek.

Major Gun Dog Win!
Ch. Sunquest's Marsport Manhattan (Max), owned by Hank & Dee Hartnek, won a 20 dog Gun Dog stake at the Indian Nations Brittany Club trial in October 2008. This brings him to within 2 points of achieving his Dual Championship.
